An update on Covid-19 from Lighthouse Fellowship

Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus,

We have continued to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and review our actions in regard to creating a clean and safe environment for everyone.

Further to the Prime Minister’s update and the information given by the World Health Organisation, Bishop and Pastor Bailey have made the difficult decision to cancel all services at Lighthouse Fellowship until further notice. This includes our annual ‘Elevate’ conference that was planned to take place on 11-12 April 2020.

We have taken the time to continuously join together on conference prayer lines, stream online sermons and have online bible studies. Please stay tuned with all our social media platforms to be updated.

During this time, we want to acknowledge all those affected, and we will continue to pray for you. Stay blessed and stay safe.

An update on Covid-19 from Lighthouse Fellowship

In light of the Government guidance to stop social gatherings, we want to personally get in touch with you to let you know our response to COVID-19. We have continued to monitor the situation and review our actions in regard to creating a clean and safe environment for everyone. Given these unique circumstances we have taken preventative measures to ensure that we give you an extra peace of mind while we worship together.

Since the recent announcements from the government, we have chosen to suspend the forthcoming services:

  • Bible Study, Wednesday 18 March
  • Youth Club & Prayer Meeting: Friday 20 March
  • Worship Services (Morning and Evening): Sunday 22 March

As the details unravel from day to day, we’ll continue to keep you updated with Lighthouse events. During this time, we want to acknowledge all those affected in these circumstances and say that we will continually pray for you.

We understand that in times like these we may panic, feel a little fearful due to family, work and livelihood; however, as Christians we must see the light in the dark times. Although, we may not see an end to this pandemic, just remember we know someone that sees the ending. No matter what the next few weeks or months may hold, continue to encourage yourself and those around you. Whilst each day comes and goes, stand strong and hold on to the promise of God in Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
