Role Description
The Office Secretary serves as the administrative backbone, fostering an efficient, organised, and welcoming atmosphere that supports the church’s mission and facilitates the smooth functioning of weekly tasks. Their role is integral in creating a positive experience for members, visitors, and volunteers alike.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meeting Coordination and Documentation
- Write comprehensive meeting minutes and distribute follow-up documents promptly to concerned parties after meetings.
- Send reminders to the Leadership Team for upcoming meetings via text and email, ensuring their prompt attendance.
- Email Correspondence
- Monitor and respond to church emails promptly, providing assistance or directing inquiries to the relevant individuals or departments.
- Administrative Support
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Assistant, supporting office operations and collaborative initiatives within the church.
- Collaboration and Team Support
- Collaborate with other staff members and assist in administrative tasks to support the overall functioning of the church office.

- Proficiency in office software and technology.

- Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred.
