Role Description
The Sunday Service Operations curate a welcoming and engaging Sunday service experience for our church community. This pivotal role involves orchestrating the logistics and operations to ensure all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborative Service Planning
- Work closely with the Senior Pastor and Executive Assistant to plan and coordinate Sunday worship services, aligning them with the church’s vision and objectives.
- Communication and Coordination
- Maintain regular and effective communication channels with Hospitality, Worship, and Media teams, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of services.
- Collaborate with these teams to create an atmosphere conducive to spiritual growth and community engagement.
- Conduct Sunday service briefings at 10:00 am to ensure all team members are informed and prepared for the day’s activities.
- Logistics Management
- Oversee the logistical aspects of the Sunday service, ensuring all components, from seating arrangements to technical requirements, are in place for a smooth and efficient service.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the service, coordinating prompt resolution and necessary maintenance.
- Service Execution Oversight
- Monitor the flow of the service, ensuring timely transitions between segments and managing any unforeseen circumstances or interruptions.
- Provide support to volunteers and team members involved in executing the service, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Guest and Attendee Experience
- Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees, including guests and newcomers, ensuring they feel valued and embraced within the church community.
- Facilitate an environment that encourages engagement, participation, and a sense of belonging among service attendees.
