Give at Lighthouse Fellowship

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. (1 Chronicles 29:14, NIV)

At Lighthouse Fellowship, we encourage giving simply because it’s one way we believe God proves His faithfulness. Your choice to give in offering and tithes helps God’s plan to bring resources to Lighthouse Fellowship and the local community. When you give, you help us serve and make a difference.

Tithing

Tithing is a biblical principle. In Leviticus 27.30, God teaches us that part of your earnings belongs to the Lord and is therefore holy to the Lord. So, whether it’s grains from the soil or fruit from the trees you grow, as in those days, or as part of your way of earning today, part of that belongs to the Lord, and therefore is holy too.

If you’re new or haven’t tithed before, a great way to start is with the Three-Month Tithe Challenge based on the promises of God as seen in Malachi 3:10.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV
